EEC has several new and exciting initiatives:

Science: It's a Girl Thing!
Through a grant from the National Science Foundation for Science: It's a Girl Thing! we are adapting our award-winning program "Playtime is Science" for parents and caregivers of children ages 4 - 8. Click here to learn more [1].

Afterschool Inclusive Math (AIM)
With funding from the Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation and the NEC Foundation of America, EEC's highly successful After-School Math PLUS program is being implemented in inclusive settings and disseminated nationally. In addition, EEC has produced guidelines for fostering inclusion through afterschool math, which are now available for download. Click here to learn more [2].

Great Science for Girls (GSG)
A fourth round of intermediary organizations have signed on to bring GSG [3] to their communities. New sites in Missouri, California and New Jersey are participating in Professional Development Institutes that prepare them to roll out the program during the 2010-2011 school year. Continuing intermediary sites are implementing evidence-based curriculum and are expanding their outreach to new centers.Click here to learn more [4].
