The 2008 Equity Awards Dinner celebrated and honored the work of individuals and organizations who have helped to advance equity and social justice. The gala event was held on November 20, 2008, from 6-9 pm, at the Lighthouse, a unique waterfront venue at Chelsea Piers in New York City. The event was hosted by LeDerick Horne, winner of the 2006 Rising Star Award.
